MINH & KOK is an eclectic and playful noodle joint located within a leisure shopping arcade in Causeway Bay. Capturing the distinctive character of southeast Asian street stalls, a semi-open kitchen counter dressed up in metallic zinc finish and Vietnamese cement tiles acts as a key feature, whereas the adjoining seating area offers a casual and intimate dining experience for nearby shoppers. Deriving from traditional native elements with a twist of modernity, the design has adopted delicate treatment of blue stripped rattans, light grey granolithic floorings and sparse tints of battened wood features on walls. To enlighten the gourmet experience, all dining tables are bespoke on top with exotic graphics to evoke an imagery of Southeast Asia. Complemented with a young and chic casual patio at the front, this restaurant has loosened the busy city life with an uplifted Viet and Thai street-style leisure.
